biography.
jennifer leigh bird.
Born and raised in South Jersey, I have been exposed to the rich culture of east coast art since a young age. I attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration and a minor in Photography. While a student at UArts, I had the privilege to study under instructors such as Tim O'Brien, Mark Tocchet, E.B. Lewis and Ralph Giguere. My paintings reflect my political and enviornmental beliefs, my passion for unusual beauty and my love of nature. I currently work as a Special Projects Technician for Harrahs in Atlantic City and as a muralist for residential and commercial properties. In the past I have worked as a muralist for The House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ. I have also had individual pieces in galleries such as The F.U.E.L. Gallery in Philadelphia.
